Portuguese Internet Governance Forum | July 12th. Participate!

The 10th edition of the Portuguese Internet Governance Forum takes place on 12 July, at ANACOM's offices, in Lisbon, and online, with the theme Global Digital Compact. This edition is organized by .PT, ANACOM, APDC, CNCS, DECO, FCT-FCCN and the national member of Youth IGF.

The Global Digital Compact (GDC) is the most recent effort by the United Nations to establish a global consensus on principles and values in the digital evolution through public policies, and which is currently under discussion. The event will have sessions dedicated to the themes of connecting everyone to the Internet, including all schools, data governance and trust, illegal content, Internet fragmentation and regulation of artificial intelligence.

The Secretary of State for Digitization and Administrative Modernization, Mário Campolargo, and the Director General of ETNO (European Telecommunications Network Operators), as a member of the "Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Leadership Panel”, Lise Fuhr, will participate.
