1st Lusophone Internet Governance Forum is coming

The 1st Lusophone Internet Governance Forum, organized by .PT, LusNIC, CIG.br, NiC.br, and INTIC, will take place on the 18th and 19th of September in São Paulo and online.

Among the topics under discussion will be the internet governance ecosystem, the Portuguese language on the Internet, the Global Digital Compact and the challenges and opportunities for the development of the Internet in Portuguese-speaking countries.

This Forum was recognized by the global Internet Governance Forum as being an open, inclusive and bottom-up platform for all interested parties from Portuguese-speaking countries to cooperate on matters related to internet governance. It is highlighted on the website here.
