Our website has now the Webco2zero seal, the Sustainable Certification Seal for Websites. This seal is visible on our homepage.
Webco2zero is an initiative to mobilize the internet, bringing sustainability to Portuguese websites. From the traffic of each website is planted the number of trees needed to neutralize the CO2 emitted by it. The website thus becomes sustainable and may display the sustainable seal.
The number of trees is calculated by the monthly average of page views and every 8,000 page views a tree is planted. In the case of DNS.PT, it will be planted 4 trees that can then be geolocated here.
