.PT supports the II Global StopCyberbullying Telesummit

.PT supports the II Global StopCyberbullying Telesummit, an online event composed of a series of videoconferences dedicated to topics related to cyberbullying, which will be broadcast live on Facebook, Periscope and YouTube during the month of October.

Marking October as the European Cybersecurity Month and the Preventing and Combating Bullying Month, the event has 35 live video streams, with a total of 38 speakers from all continents, representing 15 countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Spain, United States, France, India, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Netherlands, Portugal and Zimbabwe.

"This initiative, such as .PT, is concerned with the issue of internet security. According to recent data, during the pandemic more than 60% of students were victims of cyberbullying. It is effectively a reality that we all must combat, at home, at school. Congratulations on this initiative!”, said Luisa Ribeiro Lopes, President of .PT.

The sessions take place from 1 to 31 October 2020 and will be conducted in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish, depending on the guest.
