.PT at the 1st edition of the Switch to Innovation Summit

On June 17th and 18th, the 1st edition of the Switch to Innovation Summit will take place, where the main initiatives and more than 30 projects that combine technology with sustainability, inclusion, education and humanization will be presented. Organized by CDI Portugal, the entity responsible for Apps for Good and Centro Cidadania Digital, and by the City Council of Valongo, the event will take place in a hybrid model and will feature around 80 speakers.

On June 17 at 9:25 am, Luisa Ribeiro Lopes, .PT Chairman of the Boards of Directors and General Coordinator of INCoDe.2030, will participate in the panel "Real Digital Inclusion", together with Ana Casaca, Global Head of Innovation at Galp, Maria Manuel Leitão Marques, Member of the European Parliament, and Rui Pedroto, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Member of the Board of Directors of the Manuel António da Mota Foundation.

The 1st edition of the Switch to Innovation Summit will also be the stage for the largest national competition of applications created by young people to solve social problems – Apps for Good, an initiative supported by .PT – with the North Regional Meeting. It will take place in the afternoon of the second day of the event in virtual mode, where it will be possible to hear each of the teams and learn more about each of these apps for smartphones and tablets that have the Sustainable Development Goals as a starting point. At this first Apps for Good Regional Meeting will be known the teams that will be present at the final event scheduled for September at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, in Lisbon.
