Apps For Good: .PT supports app which is a personal kitchen assistant

.PT has been supporting initiatives that promote digital skills among young people and Apps for Good is one of such initiatives. In this context, .PT supported the development of the Cook Wizard application, which functions as a personal kitchen assistant that tries to solve the very difficult task of figuring out what to do for the meal, only with what you have at home. Cook Wizard was the result of an idea from a group of students, together with the teacher, under the Apps for Good initiative. The solution was the winner of the 1st Edition of the App Start Up and it was awarded by .PT. This award allowed the team to realize the great goal of having their app in production, and it is already available in the Google and Apple stores. 

In addition to the winning application, .PT also supported the development of the ABC.Play - Aprender a Vocabular app, whose objective is to help children autonomously increase their lexical through an oral dictionary. The support website is available at www.abcplay.com and the application can be downloaded from Google and Apple stores. 

Apps for Good is an initiative of CDI Portugal and is an educational technology movement where teachers and students work as a team to respond to relevant issues in their day-to-day life through the creation of apps.
