The first words are of thanks and goes to the one who continues to deserve a bow, Alfred Hitchcock. In the remote year of 54, he left this mythical thriller which we today dared to copy the name "Rear Window", we have just added one differentiating element, as it could not fail to be: the .pt.

Interestingly, the story portrayed in the film also came from a situation of forced confinement, although it was peppered with mystery, suspense, with Grace Kelly's ethereal beauty, James Stewart's charm, and everything under Mr. Hitchcock's lens and magical gaze. At .PT, we lack all this, it is true. But truth be told, we have other good things.

From the 5th floor of the Latino Coelho street, in Lisbon, in the days when fog and pollution (better, the lack of it) let us, it is possible to reach the 25 de Abril bridge with a glance. In addition to a quick check on the traffic and, with that, the evaluation of the time to get home from some of the people who work with us, when summer comes, we would say that the animation begins. Therefore, the film is another.

Our rear window starts to offer us daily scenes and comical scenes. The indiscretion - we confess - remains, since, year after year, we could not resist to the voyeurism of watching the young people who gathered in the inflatable pool on the terrace of the lively hostel behind us. None of this would be funny, and the daily film would not be this ticket office success, if it weren't for the armbands, buoys, ducklings and inflatable unicorns that floated there and would made a photograph worthy of Oscar. To prove what we say will be difficult, we have no records, the GDPR and many other laws do not let us and we are compliant. We have an alternative, which is to invite you to visit us in midsummer. Or is this not an alternative? It probably isn't. You robably won't want to make many visits; we will probably also be more at home than at the office; the hostel probably won't reopen; if it reopen probably will not fill the refreshing inflatable pool; probably even open and with the inflatable pool the young people will not be there ... probably.

But it can also be the other way around and, with some probability, we will all come back at each coffee break, putting our hand under the back of Pedro's chair and, indiscreetly, peeking through the .PT's rear window.
